Ever since the 5th grade, I've been involved with music. In 1985, Tandy/Radio Shack came out with a sound module called Orchestra 80. I programmed the entire Haydn Trumpet Concerto accompaniment into the computer. This was in the days before MIDI, so every single note had to be scripted. This allowed me to practice the piece on my trumpet and focus on timing and intonation. Sound modules and sequencing have come a long way with digital audio sampling and MIDI. In my spare time I like to produce music using my digital audio recording studio. My current set up is Cakewalk Pro Audio, a hefty workstation, a piano keyboard, an Alesis SQR sound module, some audio processing equipment and two microphones. Over the years, I've learned to play saxophone as well as trumpet.
