Thanks for taking an interest in my resume!

Most of my experience has been Microsoft centric.  As a Systems Engineer, I've built my career to be a generalist across key disciplines with a greater degree of depth in networking and security.  Many of the projects that I've been have allowed me opportunities to deploy solutions and develop processes that enable IT staff to be more efficient and do more with less.  Creating technology solutions to enable the business and increase productivity is a passion.  I understand that technology solutions need to be crafted to support the business requirements and objectives, not the other way around.  I have worked with companies to translate their high availability requirements and create appropriately sized solutions that meet their immediate needs, future growth and budget.

In my previous roles, I was responsible for quickly examining and documenting various networking environments and systems.  Working with companies that were at varying levels of maturity in ITIL, I have been able to deploy new solutions in a controlled and disciplined manner that allowed successful implementation without interruption to the business.

I am a U.S. Navy veteran.  I am punctual and dependable.  I understand what it is to have responsibility of mission critical systems, 24/7.  I was honorably discharged in 2001 as a First Class Electronics Technician (E-6) to pursue my civilian career in information technology.  My instructor training and experience in the Navy has given me the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of an organization.

My resume is available below in PDF format.  You will need a PDF reader available for free from Adobe.  My personal contact information is purposefully not listed here because I do not want web-bots harvesting it for spam lists.  After you've reviewed my resume, please contact me if you need it in Word format.

Sample Project: Altiris Asset Management Solution Implementation

When implementing Asset Management, one size does not fit all.  The implementation of such a solution in an enterprise may seem like a daunting task.  Knowing a company's culture and corporate structure can go a long way in determining how this will be approached.  Below are a series of files that generically lay out an implementation project for a very generic company of nearly 1200 seats.  This is most likely not an exact fit and approach for your needs, but hopefully, it will get the gears turning for determining the approach in your organization.
